    Private Clarinet Lessons
    Private Saxophone Lessons

Lessons are designed around each individual student's needs. I focus on instilling proper technique and advancement through numerous warm-up exercises, short training exercises, etudes, solo works, and sight reading work. Instruction and materials are intended to promote understanding and produce a well rounded musician.

Private Lessons are available in 30 minute time slots or 1 hour time slots. Thirty minute time slots are typically only recommended for beginner students or younger students. I suggest hour lessons for all other students in order to have enough time to cover essential materials. Consistency with private lessons is vital for students to improve and reach their expectations.

Lessons will occur once a week at a designated time.
Payment for lessons will be collected at the beginning of each month for the total of that month's lessons. Cash or check is accepted. Hour lessons are currently $60.00 per lesson and 30 minute lessons are $30.00 per lesson. Rescheduling for emergencies, events, etc. is available and will be managed on a case by case basis. Failure to notify the instructor of needing to miss or reschedule a lesson less than four hours in advance, with the exception of unforeseen emergencies, will forfeit the lesson. Policies and procedures are available in detail here.

Feel free to ask any questions! See the contact page to inquire about scheduling!

Clarinet Clinics can be designed for band directors to assist with instructing their clarinet sections, or for middle and high school clarinetists to aide with individual improvement.
Potential topics include: Teaching Proper Technique to Beginners, Tone & Intonation-In Depth Embouchure/Voicing Concepts, Equipment Essentials, How to Eliminate "Crossing the Break" Issues, Tonguing Correctly on the Clarinet, Common Problems & How to Fix Them, etc.
